Ulta Jumbo Love Hair

This is the time to stock up on your haircare products! Twice a year ULTA spoils us with jumbo sized products of our favorite haircare brands with huge sales known as the Liter Sale.

To give an idea of when to expect these, one happens at the beginning of July we called this sale the Jumbo Love Summer Sale and it starts at the beginning of July typically the first or the second.

The Winter sale we typically refer to as the Jumbo Love Winter Sale and this one occurs around the end of December and goes into January, expect this to start on or around Christmas.

How Do I Get an Ulta Birthday Gift?

You must have purchase history on your account to trigger an Ulta birthday gift coupon. All UltaMate members with purchase history should get a coupon on the first day of their birth month to redeem a gift in-store. They also get 2x points during their month of birth. The birthday gift changes every month in the yearUlta Beauty Sales Calendar, but it changed by quarter before that. Platinum members get a $10 coupon with their birthday gift.

How Do I Become an Ulta Platinum Member?

Spend $500 a year and get upgraded to Platinum. Your Platinum membership is valid from the date you earn it through the end of the following year. Points do not expire while you’re in Platinum status, but use them within a year of earning them if you’re not. You get all UltaMate Rewards perks plus extra Platinum Perks, including 1.25 points per dollar spent, a $10 birthday coupon, and exclusive Platinum Offers.

How Do I Become an Ulta Diamond Rewards Member?

Spend $1200 a year and get upgraded to Diamond. Your Diamond membership is valid from the date you earn it through the end of the following year. You get all Platinum Perks plus extra Diamond Perks, including 1.5 points per dollar spent, free shipping with a $25 purchase, and a free $25 reward card annually good toward beauty services (which comes inside the Diamond Rewards Qualification Gift).

How Do you Earn and Redeem Points at Ulta?

You cash your points in for actual money off purchases. To make the most of the program, I suggest delving deeper into how to earn and redeem points. In the simplest terms, only redeem in increments of 2000 and utilize multipliers and bonus point offers as much as possible. Make sure you know how to run the math, so you get all the points you should. The more multipliers you combine, the harder it is to calculate.

Do Ulta Points Expire?

Points never expire for Platinum or Diamond Members. As long as your account is in Platinum or Diamond status, you can bank them as long as you want. UltaMate members should use their points before they expire, even if it means redeeming them in increments under 2000. Ulta only removes points once a quarter, and it removes points that are at least a year old. You will get an email reminder to spend your points before they expire (as long as you’re opted into emails).

What are Ulta Point Multipliers?

These come all year and there is rarely a period where Platinum accounts do not have at least one. There are 2x points, 3x points, 4x points, 5x points, 6x points, 7x points, and 10x points offers. You must activate these offers through the email or the My Rewards section of your account before shopping. As I mention above, multipliers combine. Although certain deals only pop up when there are no multipliers, many pop up during multipliers. It would actually be difficult to purchase many times throughout the year and not hit a multiplier of any kind.

How Do points work at Ulta?

There is a lot to cover, so I will refer you to Earning and Redeeming Points. Having a good understanding of how to maximize earnings and spend points at the right time makes the program more valuable.

What GWP Offers does Ulta Have?

Whether shopping in-store or online, make sure you know which gift with purchase offers are available. Many offers are available in-store and online. Just as no customer knows every offer, no employee does either. An employee cannot give you a freebie if s/he does not know you should get one. It is important to check the online gift with purchase section before shopping online or heading over to a store.

Does Ulta Have a Clearance or Sale Section?

When shopping in store, make sure you stop by the clearance section. This is usually near the center of most stores, but ask an employee if you’re having a hard time finding it. Items inside the clearance section vary between stores. Clearance items in store are always discounted deeper than the same item in the online sale section. 

Does Ulta Have Free Shipping?

The free shipping minimum is usually $50. It does reduce at times to $25 or $35, but shipping is $5.95 if you dip below. Paying for shipping always negates some of the deal, so I suggest shopping in store when you are not going over the minimum. Free Shipping is calculated after discounts are applied, so you must go over $50 before tax. Gift With purchase minimums are calculated before discounts. If you have a $60 GWP in your cart, and a discount that takes $10 off, you only need to spend $50 to get that offer.
