Dior names Yara Shahidi Global Brand Ambassador for women’s fashion and make-up

Dior has announced the appointment of Yara Shahidi as Global Brand Ambassador for women’s fashion and make-up.

The LVMH-owned brand made the announcement via a trio of posts on its Instagram account, adding that the appointment celebrates the designs of Maria Grazia Chiuri, Women’s Creative Director, and Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director of Makeup.

With fellow ambassadors including Natalie Portman, Jennifer Lawrence and Cara Delevingne, Shahidi, a vocal BLM supporter, will bring some much-needed representation to Dior’s marketing imagery. Shahidi has worked with the LVMH-owned brand in the past on the Dior Stands with Women project.
