Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale: December/January/May

Nordstrom’s Half-Yearly Sale is back, with thousands of items up to 50 percent off. There are plenty of summer essentials from brands like Madewell, Gucci, and New Balance as well as deep discounts on less-seasonal items, appliances, and skin care. So whether you’re looking for a new swimsuit to wear this weekend, a lightweight down jacket for next fall, or a set of wine glasses to celebrate hosting your first dinner party in over a year, we’re sure you’ll find a bunch of options at prices that can’t be beat.

As we’ve seen with Nordstrom sales in the past, stock and sizes move quickly. So don’t wait too long if you see something you like.

Nordstrom doesn’t have very many sitewide sales during the year, but the highly anticipated Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale is one of their biggest. The sale is a great opportunity to get up to 50 percent off women, men, and children’s apparel, home goods, and more. 

You can expect to shop hundreds of Nordstrom favorites on sale, from apparel and fashion, to beauty and home decor. If you have any favorite Nordstrom items or decor pieces on your list, this sale is the perfect chance to grab them at a fraction of the cost. In the meantime, we recommend bookmarking things you love to score them before they sell out.

Here are the Nordstrom items you should look out for:

Home Decor: Shop decor favorites from luxe cheese boards and oil diffusers to candles and decorative placemats. You'll find discounts on big-name brands like Rabbit, Voluspa, and more. Whether it's for your coffee table, bookcase, or credenza—you're bound to find something to fit your space.

Bedding: With summer around the corner, this sale is the perfect chance to swap out your bedding for a lighter option. Shop soft sheets, cozy pillows, and silk pillowcases for less during this sale.

Keep in mind the Half Yearly sale does not include Nordstrom Rack. But don't fret—Nordstrom Rack often holds plenty of its own sales and has much wider clearance sections to begin with, so you'll also find great discounts there as well.

Nordstrom After Christmas Winter Sale: January

As far as end-of-season sales go, it doesn't get much better than Nordstrom's. At the moment, it has a number of sales running simultaneously, including a drool-worthy designer sale, a clearance sale, and a bevy of new markdowns.

As you know, there are a ton of sales that launch right after Christmas, but I, for one, am kind of tired of shopping then (believe it or not). But now that I've had a few weeks to recover from the holiday gift shopping mania, I'm ready to do a deep dive into the sales, starting with Nordstrom's extensive selection. 

Based on the amount of hype Nordstrom sales get (guilty), I'm actually pretty surprised by how many goods are still left to choose from. My cart is filled with loungewear (of course), shoes, chic sweaters, denim, and more, and I'm letting you in on all my secret finds. Scroll to shop with me.

The Nordstrom after-Christmas sale is offering an extra 25% off clearance items for up to 75% off total savings on select items. It's an amazing opportunity to score deals on big brands such as UGG, Nike, Barefoot Dreams, Hunter, Marc Jacobs, Rebecca Minkoff and more. Nordstrom Memorial Day Sale: May

Memorial Day, originally created to honor veterans who've lost their lives while serving in the military, is a federal holiday observed annually on the last day of May. In 2021 Memorial Day falls on Monday, May 31 and in 2022 it will fall on May 30. The holiday weekend, which takes place during graduation season, has become known as the kickoff of all things summer with BBQs, outdoor activities and of course, the Memorial Day sales.

Memorial Day Weekend coincides with Nordstrom's highly-anticipated HALF-YEARLY SALE which runs through June 6.  Get up to 50% off on women's style, menswear and kids' fashion, plus fabulous home buys and designer deals - and you'll find up to 80% off on clearance items, too.

Nordstrom's Spring Sale has some of the best deals we've seen all year. We're talking discounts of up to 74 percent on thousands of items, including clothing, shoes, home decor, and travel accessories. Whether you're looking for a new pair of sandals just in time for summer or a great new travel bag, there's a deal for just about everyone at the big event.

Women who are looking to give their wardrobes a refresh for the warm weather should check out this cute Coach wristlet that is on sale for just $57 or this slinky camisole that's marked down to only $10.
